Born and raised in Mississippi, I love a small town. We do love to travel and see the world. It amazes me how God created everything and it is so different, beautiful, and mind blowing. A few of my hobbies are reading, photography, writing, spending time with friends and family, horseback riding, scuba diving, and LEGOS. Yes, I said Legos.
Being an educator helped me transition to writing and speaking about my faith in Christ.

This is our son Jordan. He is a typical second child. A challenge… But boy do I love him and miss him like crazy.
Jordan past away in June of 2022 in a tragic accident. We immediately went to grief counseling. Our counselor told us to begin journaling, so that is what we did. Unfortunately, jotting down my crappy day’s events was not helpful to me. But I had so many questions, I was angry, and confused with God’s plan. This is where my educational background came in handy. I began writing down my questions, thoughts, concerns, and researched them based on what the Bible said about them. Months later, I began writing my blog post about what I researched from my questions.
I hope and pray that you will grow deeper in Christ with me. I am just a person, struggling with lots of things in our fallen world, just like you.
You are loved, God loves you. You are right where God wants you to be. God is the author of our stories, I am not afraid of the next chapter because I know the author.
